Starr Andreeff, President of MJMG, found writer Rob Shapiro’s pilot script “Underbelly” on InkTip and helped facilitate an agreement between Rob and a top production company. Starr is a manager and producer based in Los Angeles who develops film, TV, and docuseries projects. Sailaja Bandyopadhyay with Times & Images, a boutique film production company created with actor/producer Rahul Chakraborty, discovered the short script “Madam Lucinda” on InkTip and has purchased the script from screenwriter Jason K. Allen. Sailaja’s short “Inheritance” earned numerous awards on the international festival circuit, including Best Short Film and Best Female Director, and was selected as a Finalist at the Cannes World Film Festival. Producer Keith Shaw found the script “Shark on Drugs” on InkTip and has entered into an agreement with writers Tony Jerris and Shannon K. Dunn. Keith’s credits include “Blue Moon Ball” and “My Mother’s Stalker,” among others. Angus Benfield with LAMA Entertainment found the script “The Christmas Letter” on InkTip and optioned it from InkTip writer Michael Cunningham, and we are happy to announce that the project, featuring comedy stars Chevy Chase, Randy Quaid, and Brian Doyle-Murray, has been filmed and is now in post-production! Angus’s credits include the InkTip-facilitated films “Yellow Bird” and "The Post," among others. Michael is a multi-optioned writer who was previously awarded 2nd place in the Scriptapalooza Screenwriting Competition for his script "The Popular Voter" (originally titled “Swing Vote”). Producers Alain Azoulay and Harry Locke IV with Azoulay Pictures found the script “The Spotter” on InkTip and purchased it from InkTip writer Mike Gerbino. We are excited to announce that the project is about to begin principal photography with Harry Locke IV set to direct and Stephanie Estes (“Soft & Quiet,” SXSW ’22) attached to play the lead. Alain’s credits include “The Lost Paradise” and “Dark Senses,” and Harry’s credits include “The City of Gold” and “The Redeemer,” among others. The film will also be produced by Amit Yonay, Sharon Butler, Robbie Allen, and Sasha Yelaun (“The Old Way”). Nikki Dionne with Citizen Dame Productions, the female-centric division of Citizen Skull, found the script “My Grumpy Valentine” through InkTip and optioned it from InkTip writers and sisters Maria & Elise D'Haene.
