Dr.
Linda Seger created and defined the job of script consultant when she began
analyzing scripts based on a system she developed as part of her doctoral
dissertation. Since 1981, she has consulted on over 2,000 projects for both
television and feature films.
Dr. Seger is an internationally known speaker and teacher in the area of
screenwriting, having lectured in 30 countries around the world. She presented
the first professional screenwriting seminar in both Moscow and Bulgaria,
and has trained script consultants and script editors in Germany, New Zealand,
Scandinavia, Austria, and Italy. She has given seminars for studios, networks,
production companies, television series, and film commissions.
Dr. Seger's clients have included TriStar Pictures, MGM/UA, Guber-Peters
Entertainment. Peter Jackson, Ray Bradbury, William Kelley, Tony Bill, Dave
Bell, Charles Fries Entertainment, Linda Lavin, and Suzanne De Passe. Some

Award by Regents University for being a light to the entertainment

Living Legacy Award for contributions and support for women in film
and television.
