- It is necessary to have an InkTip account to list your work in
the magazine. You must be logged into the site with your username and
password in order to submit your logline.
If you need to register, please click
here. If you have already registered but have not
yet signed and sent in our release form, click
here. Once your account has been activated, log into
the site with your username and password and click the "Purchase"
tab at the top of the page.
- Your work needs to be on the site.
Your logline cannot be in the magazine if your work is not on the
site, since the writers' contact information is not included in the
magazine. Producers will find the loglines they want from the magazine
on the site by searching for the writer's name or the script title.
Further info on the script and all of the writer's contact information
is available on the site for the producer.
* If your work is not yet on the site, please login
and click the 'Purchase' tab to buy a site placement ($50). Next,
you will need to list your logline and synopsis on the site. (Please
read the 'Help & Directions' tab for additional information.)
* *If your work is on the site but will be expiring before the magazine
is mailed to the producers, we will need to ensure that you will be
extending it once your 6 months is up. You do not have to extend it
early; we just need the confirmation.
- Payment must be sent in.
Payment for the magazine placement needs to be received by us prior
to submitting your logline for the magazine.
It is $40 per logline, per issue. Please go to http://www.inktip.com/pricing.php
for information on our discounts. To pay, please log into the site
and click on the 'Purchase' tab.
- Submit your logline from the site.
Once you're logged into the site and at least your logline and
synopsis are on the site, please go to the 'Titles Listed' tab (you
must be logged in) and click the 'List in Magazine' button for the
title you wish to submit.
We do not accept loglines sent in via email. If you have already sent
in your logline for the magazine but would like to revise it, please
email us.
The InkTip Magazine is only snail mailed to industry professionals.
We do, however, send a .pdf copy of the magazine to writers who have paid
to have loglines included.
Shorts are not eligible for the magazine.
There is a 60 word maximum for loglines in the magazine. (This does not include the title, genre or author name.)
If you have already sent in your logline for the magazine but would like to revise it,
please email us.
