Title:
The Rayleigh Rally

Frog was the son of a lawyer and a teacher. Like any other happy seventeen year old studying for A-Levels he lived for the weekend, girls and partying but above all this the underground world of Street Racing. On a Friday night Southend Seafront was the place to go to experience racing and the sound of turbo charged engines and the smell of nitro. Partnered with his best mate Walter, both attracted a clique of young, egoistical boy racers until one cold January night in 1996 when an altercation on a roundabout outside Central Southend got the better of Walter.
As time goes on Southend loses its place in the Racing circuit, only to give way to its much smaller neighbour the quaint town of Rayleigh. Although ten years have passed Frog still blames himself for Walter's murder by taking charge and intervening with the ensued fight between Walter and a group of thugs.
Influenced by a top police officer from the US, Essex Police decide to make a public event out of Street Racing by turning Rayleigh's main streets into a circuit. Yet with Frog at the centre of some unwanted attention a whole heap of trouble descends upon him. Shadows of the past return to him but the only person who can help him is the person he trusts the least and time proves that the love of cars never leaves Frog and that old friends will never forget this.
