I am so pleased about what has been happening since I placed my script on your website, I thought I would drop you a line to let you know.

First let me say that I have been with you for just two short months now and my logline has been accessed around 80 times. I have had 25 hits on my synopsis and about a dozen or more full scripts downloaded by eight different production companies. Given that it costs me approx $15 to package and send each script to the USA, you can see that I am already considerably up on the deal!

Much more importantly though, is that many producers who have read my script have given it exceptional feedback, including "...the best script I have ever read...." by one company, an option offer which I am considering from another, a director from a third who has sent me his reel in the hope that I will consider him for the role of director, a fourth company who are in development with other projects at the moment but would like to add my script to their development list at the end of the year, a fifth who is (as far as I can tell) about to offer me my second option and to cap it all, I have been approached by ICM who heard about the feedback on a writers newsgroup and have said that they would like to read the script - and that was a few days ago, even before I had been offered the option! Not all of these leads have been generated directly from WSN accesses, but many are and others come on the back of comments generated by WSN registered producers.

I thought it might also interest you to know that this screenplay is my first attempt at screen writing so as you can probably imagine I am absolutely delighted (and a little shocked) with this phenomenal response. You are providing writers like myself with a great service - keep up the good work!

I've been hammering out screenplays for fifteen years. I've used a variety of sites for posting scripts and log lines and have personal representation through an attorney in L.A. I've hosted support sites for new writers and independent filmmakers. I haven't 'done it all', but I've been close enough to the industry to understand the frustration and the incredible competition to simply have a script read, much less purchased. I am a working screenwriter thanks to The WritersScriptNetwork.com. The second biggest hurdle of screenwriting (beyond the writing part itself) is access - getting your writing to the right people.
