The W.I.T.H.F.F is a nomadic movie festival. It is organised in collaboration with the local people that Marysol & Chris meet on their journey around the world. We promote local and international film directors. Thus, we select half local/half international films at our screenings. Moreover, we are interested in themes related to culture, ancestral traditions, first nations, environmental ethics, naturalistic observations, individual and collective wellbeing, inspiriting-uplifting stories/portraits and existential humanistic philosophy. We also set a space to “freely associate” and elaborate the themes set forth by the movies after the projections. The spectators are invited to vote for their favorite movie on our website after the screening. Finally, we do the best we can to provide free popcorn.

M.I.C.E. FESTIVAL
May 30th - June 1st 2018
The Melbourne International Cinema Extravaganza M.I.C.E. aims to be one of Melbourne's leading cinema extravaganza, raising awareness and celebrating these wonderful totem animals- Mice.

It will attract filmmakers from all around the world and celebrate their brilliant creations. With a strong focus on all the millions of life saving mice who sacrifice their lives to the research and study of terminal illnesses/cancer world wide.

It is a unique platform for new talent and a celebration of cinematic creativity, innovation and extravagance with artists new creations being judged right here in Melbourne City.

Films with a focus on terminal illness will be welcomed to help, educate, raise awareness, and bring hope to all the sufferers and families.
Art, Music and Film is a dynamic, healing way to help sufferers and their families as well as entertain all those who come along to this wonderful celebration.

A celebration that will engage, entertain, enlighten and bring together local and International films and give recognition to these wonderful, remarkable, brave little animals with a big, corageous heart.

“I came up with this film festival idea whilst at my screening of my first film in my trilogy, FATE-It is what it is! This was at the 2013 New York City Independent Film Festival, in Time Square. New York is filled with masses of people running in all directions- like mice! Very similar to Mice in cages of scientific research and health trials. These humans were like mice, all going somewhere, doing something and 95% of them chasing their own creation and creativity. And almost 50% having suffered or been scared with terminal illness at some point in their lives. I came back to Melbourne city and saw the same thing. We are all mice and these amazing totem animals of this festival have such a significance to our lives. They are life-saving!
I want this festival to begin to bring awareness just to how lucky we are to have mice in our life and celebrate their existence in a Melbourne International Cinema Extravaganza- MICE.
It was the beginnings of creating brilliance. Don't wait – Create! And we shall do just that with all the amazing courage of all of us working as a team of creative little mice, exhibiting dynamic, wonderful, International films and in turn celebrate the life-saving mice!”
R Lobosco.
Creator/Director of MICE Festival.
One of the judges in the 2016 MICE festival.

In a town that’s all about the glitz and glamour on the big screen, the Golden Hollywood International Film Festival celebrates talent behind the camera. Touted as “The Director’s Film Festival,” GHIFF focuses on storytellers, specifically directors who create for the emerging world of new media. It takes a village to create and tell the story and our festival recognizes those creative entities who work behind the camera including Producers, Directors, Casting Directors and Director of Photography.

Our festival directors, filmmaker and award-winning director Nancy Criss, PGA and award-winning writer and filmmaker Sherri Carlson champion the creative process of women in the movie business and the independent stories they create for the new media platforms including Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Amazon and the smaller unique platforms that are emerging in these changing times. The Golden Hollywood International Film Festival provides a space for creatives to exposition their works and thrive in the digital media arena.

The Golden Hollywood International Film Festival, held at the historic Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles, CA, hosts informative industry lectures, discussions, workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities. A traditional festival format, nominated works are screened continually and a gala awards show is held the last night of the festival.

The Different Faces, Different Voices Film Festival (DFDV) invites filmmakers from around the globe to tell the stories that often go untold in current cinema and television AND to showcase them at our fest.

Intended as both a festival and a laboratory, where workshops, panels and screenings occur, DFDV seeks films based on innovative storytelling and authentic and original characters that serve to tear down stereotyping and prejudice.

In 2016, the fest launched with its first contest - "Flicks4Chicks" which awarded over 20 unique prizes & thousands of dollars to winning filmmakers. In 2018 the festival expands, adding four new categories of submissions under its "Casting A Light" challenge. These include calls for both narrative & documentary shorts & longer format. See www.difffacediffvox.org for details.

The fest is run by Harvard Square Script Writers of Newton, MA., a 501 (c) 3 which is celebrating its 31st year in existence. The festival will be held in various venues in both Cambridge & Boston, including the historic Brattle Theater. Queries about the festival can be made to admin@hsswriters.com

Get ready to get drunk on film and maybe enjoy a cheeky beverage whilst you do. Not a drinker? Not a problem! All events and venues will cater to those who prefer to sup on something non-alcoholic.

So come down, grab a drink, watch a movie, and have a good time.
