Bristol Film Office is a free service to all productions planning to film in the city.
Cardiff Film Office

Cardiff Film Office is a division of the City of Cardiff Council and manages filming and photographic shoots for the capital city of Wales - the most film-friendly city in Wales.

We make filming happen quickly and efficiently thanks to our easy-to-use application service. We also fully understand the pressures and requirements of each production, and are committed to the belief that the best way to enable filming is to ensure it does not place unreasonable demands on the locale in which it happens. Key to this is adequate preparation time, proper planning and effective consultation.

Our service:

  • Coordinates and assists filmmakers in securing filming permits.
  • Provides information about local conditions and logistics services.

Creative England
Creative England's Production Services team provide a free film office service to productions filming in England, outside London. Working in partnership with the British Film Commission to promote England internationally, Creative England is the one-stop shop for locations, studios, facilities and crew.

From people to places, our team can help you find and access the industry's finest, liaising with local authorities, film offices, regional and national partners to gain filming permissions and facilitate a smooth shoot.
Handling around 1,000 enquiries a year, we have recently supported TV and feature film drama, including Fox Pictures' The Monuments Men, Warner Bros.' Jupiter Ascending, and DNA Films' Far from the Madding Crowd, Hartswood Films' Sherlock, Origin Pictures' Jamaica Inn and Mr Selfridge for ITV Studios.

FifeScreen+TayScreen Scotland
FifeScreen+TayScreen is the screen commission for Fife and Tayside in Scotland. We support media production of all types and our service is free because we serve the regional governments of Angus, Dundee, Fife and Perthshire. The region goes from the Forth Bridges to the highlands and from central Scotland to the east coast. Film locations encompass highland to coastal and rural to urban.
