1) Stryker, his best friend Orland and their robotic caddie named U-cad stumble upon an ancient government cover up. While Orland dismisses the missing population theory as paranoid nonsense, Stryker is intrigued because it's in line with his growing feeling that life seems good to be true in the dazzlingly, spectacular, golf-based Utopian capitol city. After an ex-reporter named Deeland Search explains during a meeting with Stryker his findings regarding the missing population theory, he declares that he's done investigating because he's found true love. He hands the baton to Stryker, wishes him good luck and cautions him to trust no one but himself.
2) After they discover first-hand the murder of Deeland Search, Stryker devises a plan. They go off the grid and into the Great Northern Forest in search of help from renown spiritual guru Allswun. Before reaching Allswun, government spacecrafts try to kill them. Stryker uses the laser gun that Deeland gave him to shoot down the assassins. Eventually they meet up with Allswun, who turns out to be a woman, not the man reported by many devotees. Stryker and she devise a plan to bring down the government conspiracy: Disguise U-cad as a worker bot so it can gain access to the secret slave-labor operation underneath the Flawless Golfing Technology Products headquarters. Once inside, the bot can videotape the operation and then they can email the video to the Cosmic Newsgroup.
3) The first part of the plan works perfectly but with the company security personnel hellbent on preventing their escape, the trio barely make it out of the facility alive. After landing on the tee of the final hole of the Royal & Mystical Golf Course of Parradice, Stryker tells U-cad to send the video to the giant media company. But Orland orders the bot not to send the file, thus exposing his betrayal. Although not part of the conspiracy, Orland sympathizes with the attempt to keep the capitol city perfect, at least on the surface. Soon they're surrounded by Ian Blackhart and his forces. Blackhart is a descendent of the city's founding father and the leader of the government-big business conspiracy. After both the bot and Stryker are forced to walk off the edge of the mountain, it appears the conspiracy won. But as shown earlier in the movie, U-cad has the ability to fly and has evolved sufficiently to override the programming by the betraying Orland. After Stryker yells his name, Ian turns around just in time to see a golf ball hit by Stryker speeding towards him. The flying orb strikes (Strykes) him in the forehead. He dies as he hits the ground.
