When we asked him about the process, he explained it all so succinctly we decided to pass it on to the rest of the writers in our network: “It was the logline that drew the producer to look at the longer synopsis, and the synopsis that drew them to download the script. This is a business built around the dynamic nature of verbiage. If it doesn't SOUND dynamic, you've already lost the most important battle - which is driving people to explore your work.”

Rodriguez made an offer on "My Secret Santa" because his wife and daughter both loved the script, and he knew it would resonate with a family audience. DuBois, who's won more Samuel Goldwyn Screenwriting Awards than any student in the history of UCLA, remarked "I've had a number of my screenplays optioned through the old industry way of knocking on doors and cold calling. Even though that approach still works, I like that the producers on InkTip actually know what they want to make."

If you are looking for someone you can have confidence in referring for a special project, Cecil is your man."
