SCRIPT CONSULTING
Denise David Williams says:
"As a Producer and Script Consultant, I highly respect writers and
the art form of writing. My intention, in addition to helping you to improve
your script, is to support you in your goals in any way that I can."
SCREENPLAYS
This is what I do: After reading your screenplay, I do specific and general
notes on story, structure, dialogue and character development. These notes
address particular areas in your screenplay that need work and are also
geared to making your project as professionally and commercially viable
as possible. The goal is to address those objective areas that will impede
someone from "loving your project," not to focus on subjective
points that could change with each reader. We schedule a time for a one-on-one
phone consultation so we can discuss the notes and address any thoughts,
ideas or questions you have prior to you starting your rewrite. This conversation
lasts until we are done. There is no set time. I also send the notes to
you to consider and incorporate and encourage you to keep in contact with
me while you are rewriting. I maintain an "open door policy" for
my clients even after our initial work is done. In addition, if you want
help writing your logline, that is included. (scripts up to 130 pages).
FEE: $500.
If you don't require written notes, but would still like the same professional
input, I read your script and give you the same notes via a phone consultation.
The "open-door policy" applies here as well.
FEE: $350.
If you want your rewrite of this script and any subsequent drafts of this
script reviewed, it's done by phone conference without written notes FEE:
$250.
HAVE A GREAT IDEA THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO WRITE YOURSELF?
We will help you develop your idea whether you are the writer, or want a
writer brought on to work for you. Bring us the idea. As a production company,
we can bring in the right person for your story, oversee development, and
deliver a screenplay that you will own. Fees for this process depend on
variables.
TESTIMONIALS FROM CURRENT AND FORMER CLIENTS:
Denise,
Thanks again for all of your help.
You tempered constructive criticism with words of encouragement, making
my dream of seeing the screenplay produced as a very real possibility, not
an insurmountable task. Your ideas served to turn my draft into a completed
screenplay, which is now pending production. http://www.prayerwarrior.movierich.com
I've also been taking what you recommended on ART OF PRAYER and applying
it to other scripts as well.
