WHO WE ARE
The Hollywood Scriptworks staff consists of a group of experienced executives,
agents, and managers currently working in the film industry. Their expertise
is uniquely valuable because it goes beyond the academic; they focus not
just on what makes a script read well from a craft perspective, but also
explore what factors contribute to a script selling or not in the current
marketplace.
TESTIMONIALS
"Thank you so much. Your suggestions on 'Good Luck Chuck,' particularly
on ways to pump up the comedy and address the third act issues, were enormously
helpful."
-- Josh Stolberg, Writer, "Good Luck Chuck" -- Sold to New Line
Cinema, June 2004
"Thanks for the quick turnaround time and for the exceptional thoroughness
of your notes. Thoughtful, practical, and well-worth the investment."
-- David Klawans, Producer, "Atomic Twister"
"I can honestly say that I was extremely happy with the service Hollywood
Scriptworks provided me. I knew my treatment needed some work and I wanted
a professional analysis done so I could bring it to the next level. What
I received was incredibly thorough, insightful, and most of all, encouraging!
My treatment was only five pages long and yet they understood my characters
and storyline in a way that it seemed they had been with me all along."
-- Gustavo Sampaio, Producer, "Spirit Goal"

SERVICES
Hollywood Scriptworks offers comprehensive analytical notes (4 to 7 pages,
single-spaced) including assessment of a script's premise, character development,
story structure, dialog, action description, exposition, pacing, authenticity,
market positioning, and presentation. We'll also identify any "no-no's"
that might result in your script being set aside after only a few pages
by a busy Hollywood executive.
This is not traditional coverage, but a much more detailed level of assessment
designed not simply to give a writer some sense of how his or her script
might fare in the marketplace as is; instead, it's tailored toward helping
a writer improve their craft, their script, and their chances of selling
it.
In addition, we provide discounted follow-up analysis on any script rewritten
pursuant to our notes, and in-depth analysis of treatments as well.
We also offer one-on-one phone consultations for discussions on all topics
in the film industry. Whether you'd like to discuss strategies for getting
an agent or manager, the marketability of your new idea, or anything in
between, we've got an analyst with experience in your area of interest.
Turnaround time on written analysis may vary, but we are generally able
to return notes to a writer within 10 to 14 days of receiving their work.
Expedited services are also available.
Sign-up and submission of your work may be done via mail or entirely over
the web. Our secure server protects your personal information, and we never
share your work or your info with anyone outside our staff. Rates for services
range from $95 for a phone consultation up to $395 for a full written script
analysis. Visit us online at www.hollywoodscriptworks.com
for further details, or drop us a note at info@hollywoodscriptworks.com
if you have questions.
