Tuolumne County Film Commission
Tuolumne County has a rich film history with over 350 productions of one kind or another being filmed here since 1919. With an elevation from near sea level to over 9,000 feet, there are endless film location possibilities. Let us help you find that perfect setting for your next project! Tuolumne County has two filming jurisdictions. One is Tuolumne County and one is the City of Sonora which is also the County Seat. Depending on location of filming one or both permits may be required, but neither charges a fee for a basic film permit.
Utah Film Commission
The Utah film Commission markets the entire State Of Utah for film, television and commercial production by promoting the use of local professional cast & crew, support services, locations and the Motion Picture Incentive Program. We are a client driven agency, also serving as a liaison to production companies filming in the state.
Vallejo/Solano County Film Office

Visit Alexandria
Alexandria, Virginia is located 5 miles from Washington, D.C., on the Potomac River and features historic streetscapes. Visit Alexandria coordinates applications and permits on behalf of the City of Alexandria for filming that takes place on public property. Deadlines: Film applications should be submitted at least SIX (6) business days in advance to allow for processing. This time is necessary to contact appropriate City officials for approval. Once your application and fee, and Certificate of Insurance have been received, we will notify you to pay the permit fee and your permit will be issued. Washington DC Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment
The Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment (OCTFME) comprises the former Office of Cable Television (OCT) and Office of Motion Picture and Television Development (commonly known as the DC Film Office). Under our current structure, the Film & Television Divison of OCTFME offers various services to local and out-of-state film, television, entertainment, and digital media content creators, including: production and parking permitting; location scouting assistance; production support assistance; hotel, restaurant and transportation assistance; and job placement assistance and workforce development.
